AVA-Informational Sessions

Families interested in enrolling their student in Atlanta Virtual Academy (AVA) for the 2026–2027 school year are required to watch the AVA informational presentation and attend a July in-person orientation session. These sessions are designed to help families fully understand the expectations, structure, and commitment required for success in the AVA program.

During the sessions, families will learn about:

• What Atlanta Virtual Academy is and how the program operates

• Student expectations for virtual learning

• Attendance and engagement requirements

• Academic supports available to students

• Testing expectations, including in-person state assessments

• The enrollment process and next steps

Important:

Both returning AVA families and new families interested in joining AVA must review the informational presentation and attend an in-person July orientation session to be considered for enrollment for the 2026–2027 school year. Below you will find details pertaining to the information presentation and July’s orientation session.
